Kronus Engineering was approached by Northside Aztlan Community Center to scope, design, and manufacture a lithium- ion battery system to provide backup energy storage for the site. Kronus customized, tested, and installed its Vault 280kWh containerized system to meet the project requirements.

Purpose

Provide reliable, flexible, and safe backup energy storage services to a community center in Fort Collins, CO.

Connectivity

The battery system needed be able to connect to onsite solar and a diesel generator.

These batteries are UL1973 & UL9540a certified, and the inverters are UL1741-SA certified.
